Therapy with transformative potential.

There’s a version of you that feels empowered, grounded, and connected—and it’s closer than you think.

I provide therapy for high performance individuals navigating life transitions, trauma, and challenges related to relationships and sports performance.

As a former Division I athlete and two-time U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier, I have firsthand insight into the hardships and mental demands of competitive sport.

I use evidence-based, scientifically supported treatments tailored to your specific needs. Our work goes beyond symptom relief—I focus on building resilience and strengthening your overall mental well-being. I offer a relational, experiential space where insight meets action—where healing isn’t just talked about, but felt.

I offer in person sessions in Littleton, Colorado and teletherapy across Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, and surrounding Colorado communities.

Conditions We Work Together to Manage

  • With advanced training and extensive experience treating anxiety, I support you in moving beyond its limits so you can live more fully—with greater fulfillment, joy, and connection. Our work is active, collaborative, and goal-driven, helping you create meaningful growth and lasting change.

  • I draw from the most effective, evidence-based treatments for depression to support lasting change. As you reconnect with your core values, you’ll begin to feel a greater sense of meaning and direction. Together, we’ll work to shift the patterns of thinking and behavior that fuel depression and help you build healthy distance from painful thoughts and emotions, allowing you to move through them with more clarity and ease.

  • I approach trauma with compassion and use the most effective, evidence-based treatments available. At the start of our work together, we’ll review a clear treatment plan, build relevant coping skills, and explore the therapeutic options that best support your healing.

Because trauma is often overshadowed by co-occurring symptoms like depression, addressing the root cause allows for more meaningful and long-lasting recovery. By focusing on the source, your healing can be deeper, more transformative, and truly restorative.

  • I help athletes address sports performance anxiety and burnout by focusing on both mental skills and emotional well-being. In therapy, we work to reduce unhelpful pressure, manage anxiety before and during performance, and rebuild confidence. I also support athletes experiencing burnout by addressing exhaustion, loss of motivation, and identity concerns, helping them reconnect with purpose, balance, and sustainable performance.

  • I support post-partum stress and perinatal loss with a deeply compassionate, evidence-based approach that honors the complexity of this season. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care, I help you navigate overwhelming emotions, process grief, and rebuild a sense of grounding and safety. Together, we create a gentle, personalized plan that supports healing at your pace—helping you feel steadier, more supported, and less alone through one of life’s most tender transitions.

  • Drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Psychotherapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, I approach your care from multiple angles. Together, we’ll explore your attachment patterns, strengthen your emotional responses in the moment, and equip you with practical tools for healthier communication and connection. This flexible, evidence-based approach supports deeper, more fulfilling relationships—which I believe are at the heart of a joyful, meaningful life.

  • I will work with you to process your emotions regarding your loss, and also the cognitions and broader worldviews that may have shifted. Through this, you will find acceptance for what you have been through, and the ability to see the world in a new way. I will provide you a safe, compassionate environment to work through all the messy stages of grief, so that you can experience a brighter future.

  • My practice is affirming and inclusive, supporting you in connecting with your most authentic self. I have extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and helping individuals explore and live their identities, including gender and sexuality. I also provide support for those who have faced adversity or discrimination related to their identity, offering a space where you can feel seen, understood, and empowered.

My Approach

At Blue Space Therapy, I create a space that supports you in moving through life with both flexibility and intention.

My mission is to help you live as your most authentic, uninterrupted self by aligning the mind and body. Therapy is a space to be heard, supported, and challenged in meaningful ways.

Blue Space Therapy stands out for my commitment not just to your healing, but to your long-term well-being. While traditional therapy often focuses on symptom reduction alone, my approach is holistic, proactive, and deeply personalized.

Therapy at Blue Space is more than emotional release—it’s an empowering process that equips you with practical tools for meaningful and lasting change. I help you address present challenges while also supporting your broader sense of purpose and fulfillment. I focus on helping you navigate difficulty with clarity, warmth, and understanding.

I deeply value the therapeutic relationship itself. At Blue Space, you’ll find a warm, compassionate, safe, and sometimes even lighthearted space where you can show up fully as yourself.

I work with high performing athletes, individuals, couples, and groups.

Who I work with

I support high achieving women and female athletes who have survived trauma—but still feel stuck in survival mode—reconnect with their bodies, rebuild self-trust, and create a life that feels truly their own.

Whether you’re single, divorced, navigating a relationship impacted by trauma, or transitioning within or out of competitive sport, my work is designed for women and athletes who have experienced abuse, burnout, betrayal, abandonment, or emotional, physical, or sexual trauma. Many of the athletes I work with have also lived under intense performance pressure, injury, identity loss, or environments where worth was tied to results rather than wellbeing.

My clients are often women and athletes who have already done some healing—but still feel something deeper calling them. They value personal growth, they’re reflective, and they’re willing to explore the patterns that keep them stuck. Many have relied on high-functioning survival strategies—pushing through pain, overtraining, perfectionism, numbing, overworking, controlling, avoiding, or people-pleasing—that once helped them succeed, but now leave them exhausted and disconnected.

What I often hear from my clients:

“I look successful on the outside, but inside I feel exhausted and disconnected.”

“I’ve learned how to push through anything—but I don’t know how to slow down without feeling unsafe.”

“I trust myself in performance or work, but not in relationships or my own emotions.”

“My body feels tense all the time. Rest feels uncomfortable, even scary.”

“I don’t know where the trauma ends and where I begin.”

“I feel guilty taking up space or needing support.”

“If I stop striving or achieving, I’m afraid everything will fall apart.”

“I don’t know who I am without surviving, performing, or proving.”

Instead of feeling stuck in the same patterns… You begin to move forward with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

Instead of feeling disconnected or misunderstood in your relationships… You communicate your needs clearly and create deeper, more authentic connections.

Instead of constantly putting others first and neglecting yourself… You set boundaries that honor your time, energy, and emotional well-being.

Instead of replaying past pain or trauma… You begin to trust yourself again and feel safe in the present.

Where did the name “Blue Space” come from?

“Research finds that ‘blue spaces’ can lower stress, ease anxiety, improve mood, and support a sense of calm through their naturally restorative qualities.

They also encourage gentle physical activity, social connection, and feelings of grounding and perspective. Whether experienced in person or through soothing water sounds or imagery, blue spaces can support emotional well-being, help the mind reset, and serve as a meaningful complement to therapeutic work.”
